The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be offered an immediate start, an above market rate salary of up to £49,000 and the chance to work on some major commercial developments in the City for a market leading Building Services Consultant. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for full design on major projects within the commercial (fit-out and new build), banking and residential sectors, will be responsible for leading small multi-disciplinary design teams and will represent the consultant at client/ contractor meetings. Ideally the Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be Chartered, degree qualified and a member of a recognised industry body (CIBSE, IET) however this is not essential although a stable working history is imperative and people from a contracting background will unfortunately not be considered. The Individual The successful applicant for this role will have: 1.Must be proficient in Primavera software including schedule risk. 2.Experience of planning major multibillion dollar EPC and FEED phase projects as a Lead/Principal Planning Engineer or Planning Manager. 3.Experience in Home Office and Construction Planning including overseas assignments. 4.The ability to take initiative, make decisions and communicate at all levels. 5.The ability to coordinate work within an integrated multidisciplinary team. 6.Excellent written and oral communication skills. 7.Previous supervision / management experience. 8.The ability to represent the company at senior management level on schedule matters.
